I feel pretty wretched with a stomach ache now, and slightly nauseous at first. That's all. And, I am very tired. But, I was still able to take my son to his class in Newnan tonight, so I think it's going to be ok. I would just like prayers that this will do the job, without any negative side effects. I only had the one dose today since the nurse didn't make it out until 3pm. So, that really worked out good, to allow me to have time to adjust to that one dose today, before tomorrow morning's dose. I am so glad they are offering solutions.
But, overall it feels great to have hope for more improvement. I will take what I can get... one step at a time is ok with me. And, I have had good news, if I can make this explanation quick. The biggest physical problem with my health is the lesion on my spine, the Transverse Myelitis, which makes me have mobility problems. The doctor was beginning to think, because of the severity and time of the problem, that I may have sustained nerve damage in my legs, in addition to the Myelitis. I was not making the connection that there was a difference, before the test he gave me Friday for "neuropathy." But, basically he used shock probes repeatedly into various places on both legs to send electricity through each of the nerves, and then inserted needles in different muscles to get an ultrasound type graph on the computer that measured the movement through the legs as he did all that. That worked. The nerves in my legs have suffered no damage. If it weren't for the lesion on my spine blocking signals from getting through to my legs and arms, they would work and move just fine. This was great news for me, because I just knew my legs didn't work much anymore and I drag them, especially the right leg when I try to walk too much. This means that if the lesion heals up, then I could walk again. I don't know what you think... but that sounds so hopeful to me.
Basically, it feels like I have been through the fire, and nothing is even burned. I could walk away as if nothing ever happened when God heals me. When God heals me... you won't even know I had health problems.
Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
