I drove into Atlanta with my son early this morning for one of my doctor's appointments. Then in the afternoon he had class, so we went from Atlanta to Newnan, before making it back to Tallapoosa about 6:30 tonight. They went to church without me, since I am exhausted.
But, in Newnan, I discovered an accessible park, quite by accident. I pulled in to sit under the pavilion, since it was all so accessible, and covered with beautiful flowers all around and a fountain for the kids to play in, and a playground with Moms watching their children. I got pictures as I was making my way back to the car.
As I made my way along, my mamma called, and we chatted on the trip home, after picking Travis up. She seemed unusually cheery and talked excitedly about everybody at home, and dreams she'd had, and the usual. She seemed happy. But, I hadn't had a chance to tell her yet about our anniversary trip to Panama City, and I was excited about it, after planning all month. And, I had decided I wanted to tell her about it now, since we're leaving next week. In between each sentence, she was telling me something different.
